A day at Nantgarw China Works, South Wales

Due to the popularity of our previous visit, we are heading back again!


Home to the famous Nantgarw porcelain, Nantgarw China Works is the last remaining 19th century porcelain factory in the UK. It now operates both as a museum, and a centre for world class centre for ceramics.

 

• Tea/coffee & welsh cake on arrival

• Introductory talk including how Nantgarw porcelain has been recreated.

• Dedicated guided tour including areas not usually seen by the public.

• Lunch – cold buffet, including meats, quiches and salads with tea/coffee & water

• Demonstration of pipe making.

• See where the in-house ceramicists work.

Timings: Leave Leominster 7:45am, Hereford 8:15am, Ross 9:00am, 

Depart and to Ross 4:45pm, Hereford 5:30pm and Leominster 6:00pm.
