Alcester & Moreton Hall Gardens

Wednesday 22nd April

Following our pick ups, we make our way to the historic town of Alcester. We have passed the sign many times, but never visited until today.

This will be our morning coffee and lunchtime stop and hopefully we will also have time to explore the shops, church and possibly the Roman Alcester Museum. 

This afternoon we head to visit the Spring flower display at Moreton Hall Gardens. Here we will be welcomed by the owner or Head Gardener and given a short introduction to the history, design and planting of the gardens. 

Tea/coffee and homemade muffins will be available. Following the welcome address, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the gardens using a handout map. FYI - There are a few uneven surfaces and areas of the garden 

Timings: Leave Leominster 9:00am., Hereford 9:30am., Ross 10:15am. We will depart and travel back to Leominster 5:30pm, Hereford 6:00pm and Ross 6:30pm.
