Christmas Lunch at The Holt Fleet Restaurant

Tuesday 1st December

The Holt Fleet restaurant is beautifully situated within its own grounds on the banks of the River Severn, just outside the picturesque black-and-white village of Ombersley.

The name “Fleet” refers to the shallow river crossing and ferry that once operated here before the construction of Holt Fleet Bridge in 1828. During the Victorian era, Holt Fleet became a popular stopping point for pleasure steamers travelling between Worcester and Stourport, with visitors enjoying afternoon teas and scenic river excursions.

Today, it provides the perfect setting for us to gather together before the festive season.

Our 2 course Christmas lunch will be served in a private riverside room overlooking the iconic cast-iron bridge designed by Thomas Telford with tea/coffee and mince pies to follow - Well it is Christmas after all!
