Cliff Railway & Afternoon Tea at Violets Tea Room, Bridgnorth

Wednesday 19th November

Today we head to Bridgnorth to travel from Low Town to High Town on the recently re opened Bridgnorth Cliff Railway. Opened in 1892, this is the oldest and steepest inland funicular railway in England, a unique and historic Victorian Cliff Railway. 


We then take a short walk for a ‘picnic style’ buffet afternoon tea in Violets Tea Room to relax and take in some of the best views in Bridgnorth. 

For those that wish, we will have a short time to explore Bridgnorth before heading back down the Cliff Railway to board our coach back home.



Timings: Leave Ross 8:45am., Hereford at 9:30am., Leominster at 10:00am. 

We will depart and travel back to Leominster 5:30pm, Hereford at 6:00pm and then Ross at 6:45pm. 



Costs: Including travel costs, return Cliff railway ticket & afternoon tea with hot or cold drinks    £49.00 per person.
