Llandrindod Wells & Snowdrops at Llysdinam Gardens, Nr Newbridge on Wye

Friday 16th February

Today we head to the heart of Wales to explore Llandrindod Wells and stop for lunch, after which we will visit the historic Llysdinam Gardens for a guided tour, taking in the snowdrops and the history of the estate.  

Evolving from the 1850’s with a walled kitchen garden and beautifully planted grounds surrounding Llysdinam Hall, it has been in continuous use by the same family for 150 years The gardens are now run by the Llysdinam Trust who are working to maintain its historical importance whilst developing it further as a garden. 

We have arranged tea/coffee and cake before heading home.

Timings: Leave Ross 9:00am, Hereford 9:30am, Leominster 10:00am, Kington 10:45am.  Depart and back to Kington 5:00pm, Leominster 5:45pm, Hereford 6:15pm and Ross 6:45pm.
